1. Data Collection and Purpose
We collect personal information to facilitate your participation in the Summit. This includes:Identity Data: Full name, nationality, and country of residence to manage event logistics and security at the University of Oxford.
Professional Data: LinkedIn profile URLs and "Statement of Impact" essays to evaluate eligibility for funded slots and to curate high-impact dialogue sessions.
Contact Data: Email addresses for sending summit updates, preparatory materials for the 2026 Commonwealth Youth Forum, and post-event outcomes.
2. Processing and Selection (Funded Applicants)For the £50 "Funded Application" tier:
Your Statement of Impact and professional background are reviewed by a selection committee to determine scholarship eligibility.Submission of this data does not guarantee selection, as funded slots are strictly limited.
Data provided in the essay field is stored securely and accessed only by authorized personnel involved in the selection process.
3. Third-Party Data Sharing
To ensure a professional and secure experience, we share data with the following partners:Stripe: All financial transactions are processed externally. Nexworth does not store or see your credit card details.
Commonwealth Institutions: Aggregated (non-identifiable) data regarding participant demographics may be shared with the Commonwealth Secretariat to support the Strategic Plan 2025-2030.
Venue Security: Participant names and nationalities may be shared with the University of Oxford for campus access and safety protocols.
4. Data Retention and Security
Storage: We use industry-standard encryption to protect your professional information and impact statements.Retention: We retain your data for the duration of the 2026 summit cycle to ensure continuity for the Commonwealth Youth Forum in Antigua and Barbuda.
5. Photography and Media Consent
By attending the Commonwealth Youth Development Summit 2026, you acknowledge that photography, audio, and video recording may occur in all public areas of the University of Oxford venue.
Usage Rights: You grant Nexworth and the Commonwealth Youth Council a perpetual, royalty-free, and worldwide license to use your likeness in photographs or video recordings for promotional, marketing, and educational purposes.
Channels: This includes, but is not limited to, usage on official websites, social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.), and printed summit reports.
Opt-Out: If you do not wish to be photographed for religious or personal reasons, please notify the registration desk upon arrival at the summit to receive a specific "No Photo" lanyard or sticker. You may request to view, edit, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting the Nexworth administration.
6. Consent
By checking the agreement box on our registration form, you provide explicit consent for Nexworth and our partners to process your data as described above to facilitate your Summit application and participation.
